Episode 299: Definitive Kicking Motion?

Posted on May 29, 2022

The Calgary Flames series has come to an end after a 4-1 second round series loss to the Edmonton Oilers. Game 5 ended in controversy with the Flames go-ahead goal by Blake Coleman being called back. Do the guys think that Coleman made a distinct kicking motion? We break down the Flames series and look ahead to what the Flames need to do this off-season and how this team could look different next season.

Our next episode release date is to be determined but will be around the July 7 Entry Draft unless there is significant news before that to discuss.

  1. Sorry Dan. I am not getting g into the debate of was it or was it not a kicking motion. The Flamez twice had two goal leads in games and allowed the Oilers to come back. The better team won this series. What I am pleased. With was the play of Backland, Lewis, Coleman and Stone during the playoffs and this series. This is why most of these players listed where brought on the roster. They bring their A game in the playoffs. Disappointed in Toffoli, Mangipane, Lindholm and Markstrom. Where was there A game. I hope to see you next year at The Saddledome
